Transit Layer now Live on Google Maps

Pretty cool, they’ve expanded upon their earlier transit directions capabilities to actually show us on the map where the lines are. Click on the map below to go to Google Maps, then zoom into a city. Under the ‘More’ tag on the upper right of the map, choose ‘transit’…and the layer should show up.

I haven’t checked the info out for every city they have data for, but it looks pretty extensive…which makes me wonder, what else could Google put on their stock map that would be helpful?
