Use this map to visualize how sea level rise will affect the coastline of the continental U.S.
In some places the effects, like in Louisiana, are understandably staggering. But places that don’t immediately come to mind when thinking about sea level rise, like the Puget Sound area of Washington State, New York City, and the San Francisco Bay Area, will be affected too.
