Wetlands Loss in the Louisiana Delta Relative to the Area of The East Coast of the US

Hurricane Gustav might be headed towards New Orleans. 3 years after Katrina devastated the city, we still haven’t charted a course towards restored wetlands that could help diffuse the energy of an incoming hurricane.
